Troy is a master of details: from interior trim, colors and cabinetry to decorative tiles and even swimming pools. She closely follows homebuilding and interior trends while keeping her design elements timeless. With a bachelor's degree and a concentration in interior design from Meredith College, she was able to pursue her passions in real estate sales, custom home design and residential construction. In 1996, Troy and her husband, Jim, founded Hagood Homes in Wilmington, N.C. They expanded the company in 2017 to include Hagood Homes of the Low Country after moving to Hilton Head Island. Both she and her husband feel blessed that more than 1,000 families are enjoying the Hagood Home lifestyle.
